Is the Aeon V2 MHS Compatible? The Catologue says so, but I wanted to make sure that wasn't an error.

Hi. In the past the v2 Aeon/Dominix have never been MHS or Obsidian sound board compatible related to it's smaller diameter. After checking both the regular v3/v4 and Lite sound boards you will see that the v2's are not included. Presently the only extra part available for the v2's is the coupler to make a staff. Can't purchase another replacement pommel. So to the best of my knowledge that was an error but if you want to make sure then email your question to [email protected] or try to talk with a customer service rep. on live chat.  |

The V2's are only compatible with other V2's but not with the current MHS system. You can change their pommels with other V2 pommels and make a V2 staff, but that's it. No possibility to use other pommels from the MHS system or combine a V2 with an MHS saber into a staff.
Checked the product side, and I didn't find anything that says MHS compatible. When did you check it and read about it?

Right at the beginning of the Stunt Sabers. Close to the very bottom of the explanation in the last paragraph. There is a reference to all LE v2/3/4 being sound, Emerald and MHS compatible. |

I found it  Thanks for pointing me in that direction  However, I find it quite odd, I always thought that sound, Emerald and MHS are features only available since the release of the v3 series...and the sound/Emerald/Diamond section doesn't list any v2 saber as well. |

An LE V2 is the exact same thing as a regular V2, only with specialized anodizing. So, I don't think that information should be on there. Somebody probably needs to fix that. The pommel on the V2s is 1.25", whereas an MHS compatible pommel is just under 1.5", so they clearly aren't compatible.

It's obviously an error and US should be notified to correct it. Someone else ( not me ) should take a turn. point to Dogo for originally pointing out the discrepancy. |
