I don't believe so. I've tried playing with it and knocking it back and forth nothing seems to be coming off.

I use a cotton ball, and that works pretty well. Doesn't really muffle it so much as take some of the ear piercingly loudness out of it.

Kinda late in the reply game but...

Just install an on/off kill switch to one of the wires leading to the speaker. I picked up a micro switch from micro center. Added a little extra wire to both the wire leading to the speaker and the board. Then added a switch. Easy on/off. No problems what so ever.

I wasn't sure of a good locking switch or I would have. But easy on/off. I do with it made the flash on clash chill though... it just looks weird with no sound.
