Okay, I have a couple of questions about the Archon sabers.

1: Any way to buy a V.3 emitter only?

2: What is the point of the V.3 D-ring? Do you have to use a clip of some kind or can you set it on the convertec belt clip?

Thanks!!!

No you can not just buy the V3.1 emitter. You could buy the Archon V3.1 saber and add the V2.1 emitter if you are looking to have both.

The Archon Triangle - ring is because the saber is based off if Luke and that's what he had. No it didn't hang from a covertec holder, you will need some kind of clip.

Like tx_tuff said, the D-ring is because the V3.1 is meant to be Luke's green saber that he built before ROTJ.  In the original trilogy the lightsabers had D-rings and hung from simple hooks on the utility belt.  The covertec wheel and clip thing appeared when they made the prequels, so it's either an older or newer way of doing things depending on your point of view.  Lord Vader's saber actually had a ring near the emitter so it could be hung from his belt emitter up for a quicker draw.  I bet I'm not alone in wishing there were more D-ring options from UltraSabers, on the Graflex and Chosen One if no others...
