So why are you being so dogmatic if it's not how you really believe?

I find it absolutely amazing that you have read through this thread, and make a comment on the last thing I say.
I, as a person realize that I do not live in the Star Wars galaxy and that I am not a Jedi.
I, as a forum mate on the Ultra Sabers site, I have found myself falling into a niche of having to defend the Jedi and while it can be a bit tiresome I still do it because it is a good thing to aspire to.
I firmly believe that just about anything in real life is black and white. Period. After the important issues have been dealt with then there is room for gray and for color.
Right and wrong. Black and white.
I, as far as Rel the forum person, I am all about the Jedi of canon...human, fallible, yet willing to sacrifice anything for the purist reason...because it is the right thing to do.
Dogma, because if I did not defend the purist ideal of what the Jedi represent then all the wishy washy in between the lines non-committal types would rule...and as a Star Wars purist...I was first in line, for the first showing of Star Wars in 1977...that does not make me old, it means I was luckier than some...I got to experience the core of what we all share now, first hand...so of course I will see it differently. My first experience with Star Wars was not a couple years ago.
I will always be on board that Jedi are good and sith are bad...if you do not want to ride along with me, that is fine, really it is.
I am just a curious person by nature. I am a born troubleshooter, when I see a problem I will ask and act if possible...hence all my question threads...I gather information, opinions, and thoughts...it helps me understand those who are different.
Dogma, because I believe that Jedi are good...I accept.

In some cases there will come times that people will just not agree...can not agree...I will never accept that the Jedi ideal is wrong, evil, or other beyond good.
A steak is red meat...you can not convince me it is actually soy.
An apple is a fruit...you can not convince me it is a meatball.
And Jedi are good...you can not convince me otherwise...that said...beyond the black and white or good and evil...I can readily accept that there are shades of what good is...with many characters acting with human nature, meaning we fail from time to time...character of self is built upon successes and failures...not all Jedi are completely successful, but at the core, they all try to be...and that is worth supporting.
