My Arbiter lives with a BR MLS unit installed and I haven't thought of changing that since I got it.  All machined aluminum, no black to be found and it looks absolutely amazing.  My Diamond Graflex looks pretty darn awesome set to BR as well, but that's definitely a more occasional thing when one is in just the right mood.

Fandom mash-ups are fun.

This is why I made the decision to buy as many of the hilts I liked with the Diamond controller. So far though, the hilts that I most attribute to the Darker side of the Force I got with RGB-A:

(Chosen One CE, Dark Graflex, Emperor’s Hand, Dark Monarch, Dark Sentinel LE v5, Dark Apprentice v5 and Dominix LE v3)

but if i'm feeling contrary, i'll put a deep purple, orange, etc in the blade color.

As I understand it, the RGB-A configuration gets you a warmer color palette, because you get Red, Green, Blue, and Amber LEDs instead of getting Red, Green, Blue, and White (and white is actually a blue LED topped with a yellow-looking phosphor coating that will emit white light when the blue light from the LED hits it).  In real-world usage, what impact/effect does this have on the blade colors you tend to use?

RGBA does give you better warmer colors while the RGBW is geared towards the cooler colors. Great to have both in my opinion

Yeah, that's the part I get, actually.  I guess I should have worded my question better; sorry about that.

Aside from the RGB-A making the warmer colors look better, and the RGB-W making the cooler colors look better, what other differences are there in real-world usage?

In my filming, the RGB-A keeps pretty consistent in digital video/photos, maybe a little duller - the RGB-W tends to look more washed out/pastel-ly. With both, I do try to color edit a little, but RGB-W requires more editing.
