Alternate TLJ ending

Remember the fight where Rey and Kylo team up to fight Snoke's guards? Remember the part where Rey faces off with a dual wielding foe, but when he gets her in a headlock his second weapon magically vanishes to prevent Rey from getting killed? Imagine how TLJ would have ended if Rey was seriously if not nearly fatally injured, leaving Kylo Ren to destroy the guards with Dark Side rage, and the movie ends with the Resistance in peril only for the FO to suddenly pull back at Kylo Ren's orders because he is no longer interested by the Rebel copycats and instead wants to save Rey's life. Imagine how TROS would be if it opened with Rey healing in a FO medical bay. Meanwhile, Luke joins the Resistance and plans to save Rey, but perhaps he is too late, because Kylo Ren has already begun to seduce Rey to the Dark Side after saving her life and in a way, proving to Rey that he truly has the capacity for love and goodness. Mmm, that is probably Stockholme syndrome though. Anyways, this would've been a way cooler ending to TLJ and would have better stakes in TROS without the need for resurrecting Sidious to try and rope in fans who no longer trust Disney with the franchise.
