All the shots were at 2500 ISO, 22 Aperture, and 10 second shutter speed. If you use a camera that has a manual mode on it, you can drop the shutter speed even more by lowering your ISO.

My camera has a shutter speed setting but only goes up to 800 but can do the 10 second speed. I'll give that a try sometime. But then ontop of the display it now says 8180. Whats that mean?

I love the Consular Green color. My third staff is definitely going to be in that color and maybe even the Dark Prophecy I plan to get after that. As for the shutter speed thing, if you can do a 10 second exposure, make sure your other settings are set to match the lighting condition. So for example, you don't want a long exposure, small aperture, and high ISO because that will basically give you a white image. If you're using 10 seconds, try to get a small ISO number and a larger aperture number. As for the 8180 thing, I'd have to see it to be able to tell you for sure what it is. It sounds like the number of shots you have left remaining in your camera if you're using a large capacity SD card.

Oh duh you said manual mode. xp I didn't pay attention to that. My camera has all the goodies. Manual, shutter speed, video, so on and so on. Its amazing. Though I want to get me a Sony Cybershot for HD video. Not to be off topic. Just saying. Lol. Yeah then I can do 2800 and 10 seconds. Right now for regular pictures I have it set to 3 seconds though and its pretty clear. And a CG Prophecy staff would be awesome. You going dark or regular? An EG Prophecy staff would be even cooler. Lol.

When i do any "light painting" i usually use a wireless remote shutter and set the camera to "bulb" which opens the shutter till you press the button again. as long as you set a proper iso sensitivity you can get a great shot that way.
