Not sure since my Aeon is just a stunt. Probably orange though since you're going for sound.
I like an Orange FoC, but won't that clash badly with most filters? |

Hmmm... that's not a bad suggestion! What flash color would you recommend as the best for filter use?
I would do AB since it's a mixed color too. That way it'll work with more filters i would think. |

Here's me in a full Sith outfit. I don't care its not high end stuff. Oh well. had fun anyway. Oh and for the shade of red, Diva Red and Apollo Orange. Makes a sick red color. This is what I will be doing for Comic Con. Took the pictures last night but I'll share one for now. =] Oh, put the red on first then the orange. If you have Apollo filters anyway. I'm sure it'd work with Lee filters as well though. Not sure which ones for the Lee's though. The hue kind of reminds me of the Clone Wars shade of red.  |

Get a brah hooked up then. Lol. Always wanted a woman that's bigger into Star Wars than me.  Heres a sick picture I just did though. Shutter speed at 30 and aperture at like 1.3 I believe. You can still see the brighter glow near the emitter but then it gets darker up the blade. I really like this one. =] I will be doing one like this with my brother later since he has my Blazing Red Dominix V2 LE. His might be a tad brighter/darker though since its natural red. I wanted it to where you could still slightly see me but the blade to be dark and all. I think this is the coolest picture I've done so far.  |

Ok Zren, I think your camera does do fractional Shutter Speeds, it just doesn't show them as being fractional. You said that last pic you took was at 30, but I don't think it was 30 seconds and was instead 1/30 seconds. The reason for that is the pic is pretty dark and also if it had been 30 seconds, the saber would be ridiculously blurry. So I'm guessing when your camera shows a Shutter Speed, it is showingas the bottom number of a fraction.

Yeah it's coming out clear because a 1/30 second Shutter Speed is faster than what you normally use (1/10 I think) and therefore makes the image sharper. Knowing now that your camera does in fact do fractional Shutter Speeds, I would say you could try taking pics in daylight now. Try a Shutter Speed somewhere in the range of 1/80 - 1/200, which for your camera would be 80 - 200 and see the result you get during the day.
