I posted this once before, in the wrong section. Here's why you should always read the manual:  Hahahahaha... I recently also posted a question in 'Way of the Saber' if we keep in mind that the blade is all-cutting and non-solid. For techniques and poses. I see people lean with weight on light sabers and hold them lying on their shoulders in cool mid-evil pose.  Back on topic... My girlfriend with her Guardian.  |

It was Toronto ComicCon this weekend and although I didn't attend the convention, there was a kick-off party Friday night that I checked out. I don't have my Sith costume anywhere near to the level I want it so in a pinch I just wore a bunch of black and threw on a cape. My wife busted out her Halloween costume from last year - a Stormtrooper catsuit she made. There was another Ultrasaber wielder at the party (I recognized his Liberator emitter from across the room!), but he's not active on the forums so I can't give him a shout out. Me and the wife (yes, she's aware that she's a bobble-head)   I was hoping some other Imperial types would be there and I was in luck!   My friend Mika (as Jade from Mortal Kombat) took my saber for a spin  |

A circle formed on the dance floor as various folks showed off their super powers (you shoulda seen the guy dressed as Reed Richards dancing in character) so I couldn't resist the chance to show off my Ultrasaber. Not my best work, I'd had a few drinks at this point, but it was party dontcha know.

Those pics are awesome! The Rebel in me can't help but have a cocky smirk when looking at the barrel of an E-11.  Have to say, your blaster and belt look great! Your Sithy makeup is good too, and that gauntlet is pretty darn sweet. You're on your way to an epic costume. Sort of reminds me of a short story I read, probably in Tales of the Empire or something, with a guy named Inquisitor Trelaine. Best I could figure, he was like an Emperor's Hand or something. Freaky Dude. Your costume is pretty close to what I'd picture for either him, or another guy like him I read about. Forget his name, but he was in a similar book, and he was a Jedi turned Dark Jedi who turned his back on Palpatine and he was an Actor on top of all of that. |
