Pfft. I'm the marshal for my reenactment group, which means I have to be present to ref every duel. I had blisters on my hands from fighting with the boffers all day. Anywho, back on topic. A picture I took the first day I ever held an ultrasaber:  |

@Shalateaus: Not Nero. We were talking about Guardian Xentai Kaars, who broke a blade during a 5 1/2 hour duel.
And no, I'm not SCA, although I would blend in well with that crowd. I'm part of a 30-member nordic reenactment group. We've got a village set up at our Ren Fair, and sometimes visit other fairs as well. We basically demonstrate what the vikings lived like when they weren't raiding. And yes, there are a few of us who like to break out the sabers once in a while.
