Hi there. I'll be posting a few basic training sequences for you. These are designed to teach you our material for Lightspeed Saber fencing which, we argue, is the most accurate plasma sword based combat.

We'll start with basic footwork, based in Makashi, Form 2. If you have questions, leave them here.

You've made nice clips. Footwork described in the first one is perfect (I's basically an Olympic fencing footwork that is perfect Smiley) but in the second one I see one problem. From the combat perspective I dont see any need in moving your feet while parrying. I would even not recommend moving away from proper stable stance at all, it complicates your movements and compromises stability. Hand movement alone is enough to protect your from any direction both in one-handed and two-handed variants and if you want to add some structure to the parry it's enough to just turn your upper boody in the direction of the incoming cut.
