***UPDATE***

Thought I'd add a little detail to my gloves to go with the bracers. So, I did a Stormtrooper-style hand guard. These should look swell after some paint and weathering!

I like how they wind up going with either model... I like both for different reasons. Two separate good looking styles.

But if I can only vote for one, I like the overall flow/blended look of the Bracer A setup.

Although I think the look of the Bracer B design style would match your existing helmet best, to my eye anyway and just thinking of the two items when paired together.

Mrg, these are absolutely spectacular!!  While I think that BOTH are AWESOME, I'd have to go for "Bracer A" as my preference (but, again, BOTH look fantastic)!

Both options look incredible. A looks like something a more tech-savvy Sith would wear, while B looks like it would be perfect for an ancient Sith. Both are really well done. But I'd give A the nod due to the sweet details and it being very distinctive. Can't go wrong with either one though.

You all have excellent taste :-D The "A" combo is, by far, my favorite. I may have to add a bit more armor to the fingers due to a little overzealous use of sandpaper to distress and attempt to remove some errant glue on the left hand causing a small hole in the fabric (oopsie!)

I may have some updated pics on the helmet soon....have some bits en route to add…it's a process

Some more work on the Helmet:

Side "Cheek" pieces added....Also not planning for the "Kendo-Style" grill is in-progress:


I'm trying to fill and smoothen out areas as I go as well. I can't wait to get a sealing coat of Plasti-Dip on this thing and paint it. I think it will look much more interesting then.

I think I'm going with the obvi black with some variations and metallic tones. I want a red highlight somewhere (perhaps the Sith Eternal logo stenciled on...suggestions?) I was also thinking that the "grill" could be in an old gold tone for another bit of contrast.

I welcome comments, suggestions and ideas.

trying to decide whether I want to add a thin ridge detail  (think that rised detail on an old football helmet but a little wider) or somthing closer to the "mohawk" holder on a Spartan helmet minus the "hawk"

Did some detailing on "ears" and at the chin.



I am planning on adding the "grill" today. I have NO IDEA how I'm going to be able to seal or paint it once installed...but...fortune favors the bold!

Ok, I know it'll be time consuming and painstaking but you can use painters tape cut into smaller sized shapes to cover the reflective part. Just cutting them smaller than each section and filling in "gaps" along edges with layered pieces as needed. Then it'll be a bit of a pain to remove after too, but it'll likely work out well enough. My thoughts anyway.

And it all looks pretty good together, interesting and different than what I see around in it's own way. I like it.
