Which clothes look best together? I am female btw and gling for an Anakin in our world look
Should the black tabards be a vest or a scarf
Brown Henley
Baggy Brown Linen shirt/jacket with oe without collar
Black leathee motercycle vest wjich I already own
Brown trousers
Brown knee high boots
Tan Overcoat (wool or rainproof material)
Should the overcoat be tan or black or if I can find it, brown
Ok, well then being female opens up options easier to get away with and look common place... I'd avoid the 1st Henly listed since it has a "hard" collar outline VS the one listed further down in brown, that'd be more preferential for a smooth look. The latter one also has darker color buttons that blend better.
Then over top of that throw the Soojun Cardigan in brown or the Minibee Blouse (if you want something a little more masculine in appearance). The cardigan has nice texture and potentially "puffier" sleeves which would compliment the look you're going for in theory, but the blouse isn't bad. Either would make a good "tunic" layer, but the Cardigan has nice hanging bottom sections that compliment the look. You could leave it open, then wrap it partially like a gi/tunic they use in films and then use a safety pin to temporarily hold it till you put the vest over... or fold the buttons inward and sew the right and left sides together lower down (under where the vest will cover stitches) and pull it on and off over your head.
I'd find a brown scarf style item or similar belt type of implement to wear over the "tunic" but under your vest... then you could avoid sewing your main tunic together and simply wrap your belt over instead. Like layering it: tucked undershirt, pants, shirt (tunic), scarf style belt, vest, then outer coat; IF you even find that necessary with everything else already in place, or if it's crazy cold out. But I'd definitely choose the black coat as 1st choice and Brown 2nd choice over ever going with tan.
That vest you already have will look good on top, I'd leave it unzipped mostly and belted at the bottom still to keep it cinched closed. With those brown thigh high boots. And some black pants if you have/can find a suitable pair.
Unlike Anakin you could get away with planning/engineering cleavage into the design/final product to make it less "awkward costume" and more "modern fashionable" in appearance. Seemingly silly to say but it draws the eye a bit and makes guys find it visually appealing... although possibly unnecessary or improper depending on the setting you're wearing it in, it is a part of "modern fashion" often enough to bear mentioning/consideration.
Good luck mixing and matching to your hearts content, pretty good groundwork you've laid out so far.
