So, I was just wondering how everyone displays their sabers. I don't know if this should be in the gallery or here, but meh, what evs, if a mod thinks it fits better elsewhere that's fine  Wink

I have one of those Hasbro dual saber displays which I usually only have my two hilts on without the blades as it takes up less space and still looks cool that way. I have been considering mounting some vertical mounts on the wall, but the only ones I can find are like $20 at think geek. They are cool and everything but I think I found a much cheaper solution  http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00002N9ER/ref=pe_64730_23279650_pe_vfe_dt5

sooo, I might just get one and see how they work Smiley for less than 5 bucks it can't hurt too much

Yeah I have seen those before, and I don't really want to spend $40 to display two sabers if I can do it for nearly a tenth of the price. I'll see if this option works well, but if not, I'll be able to fall back on the other ones.

Eh, I spent like $10 or $15 bucks on some wood and bought a friend lunch for the use of his saw. Made myself a nice saber rack for 5 hilts. I forget which wood I used. lol Probably Pine, but all I remember is we decided later it had been a bad choice, but it worked pretty well. Sturdy, functional, and it looks good.  Cool

mine can be seen leaning up against the wall by the back door. im a smoker, so every time i go out for a ciggie, its easy to grab and wave about in the garden for five minutes.

I actually have one of these, and one of the things that I've noticed is that unless your sabers have good choke points (dominix, aeon, catalyst, etc.) the hilts won't fit all the way down in the blade rack. I've only managed to slip my Phantom staff in because the chokes lined up perfectly with the rack.

I have an 8 saber sword rack similar to that design, and yeah lightsaber hilts don't really filt well with it, they're much thicker than the design intends.  To keep the blades from warping I've leveled off one side with tape until I can cut out a wider rest for the hilts.  Just one long, continuous piece of duct tape that fills in the space where the blade would normally rest.  Works for now.

Think chopping that thing in half, built for five, and hung on the wall and that's what I did. Of course, the advantage to building it from scratch was I could measure my hilts and cut it to the proper spacing, but then I also don't display mine with blades either. (I feel it's more realistic to have only the hilts on the wall, but that's personal tastes) Smiley
