If you got the ultra-edge blade ( white blade) then that's why the color looks washed out. If you want to see the true color of SY (sentinel yellow) than get a regular mid-grade blade (silver blade).  I think I did, actually. Dammit. Nice set of sabers either way though. I love getting brother sabers  Need to do another one again I'm pretty thrilled with the way it turned out, myself! |

Well... here's my first delve into grab bags sabers. Got two of them with the initiate giveaway, random colors Correct me if I'm wrong, saber veterans. I believe I have a Sentinel V4 in FO, Dominix LE V4 in BR, and a Dark initiate V4 in BR   Inadvertantly I got two matching sabers for Jar'Kai XD Reviews to follow shortly =D |

Normally I love the aesthetic look of an AV switch on a saber, illuminated or otherwise.
Not a big deal, but I prefer the AV switch on my Emerald Guardian that's more springy.

Update! Fresh batteries made a WORLD of difference! It doesn't show up so well on camera, but they got rid of the green tinge the blade had and generally brightened it up!  |
