I would like to see some form of a quicker disconnecting coupler. This would be something totally worth it if you are an avid dueler.

No idea if or how this is possible.... but what about tying the FoC... into the Illuminated AV Switches? I don't think you can cram two leds into a switch, but perhaps it would be possible to wire the switch led to come on or go off whenever the clash or lockup was triggered? That would be an incredible little feature if you ask me. So subtle, but just another neat touch of making it so much more real.  |

I can't remember where I saw it but this has been done.
I saw it on an elaborate one off saber that someone made which had several other LEDs on the hilt wired up to the same function

I've seen it on a Crystal Chamber before, but I dunno if I've seen it on a switch. Cool to know it can be done! Must look sweet.

So have I but the problem with that is that a magnet strong enough to hold up to the force of a full on duel would be very expensive and quite frankly very hard to do. it would mess with the electronics and you wouldn't be able to have sound. good idea though.

It would also have to twist in to a lock position to hold. The magnets can't be the primary means of holding everything together, but it can be done, plus if you shield the magnets and vent the pommels, sound could still work.

Maybe some sort of click and twist option, but I suspect that the easier it is to disconnect a staff, the more likely it is to happen in the midst of combat.

How about a 'Deluxe-RGB' option with four AV-switches  ? Red, green and blue switch for the color mixing and a white (or non-illuminated) master switch... Probably a pain to do the wiring and quite expensive, too, but just imagine the bling factor  ... |

Can't you already archive that with a guardian sans guardian pommel?
I (and I'm sure most of us too) would love to see a Darth Tyrannus and a more accurate Luke ROTJ/ Obi Wan ROTS sabers.
This definitely. I'm new here (So hello!) but I've been following the site for about 2-3 years (2-3 very low on funds years, I just got my first) and have always been bothered by the lack of a more accurate Luke ROTJ saber. It's one of my favorite sabers, and it kills me to not have that option. Also, while I wouldn't get it, a curved hilt would be pretty badass. |
