I know that a lot of people starting out with lightsaber combat have a fencing background, so I think a lightfoil http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Lightfoil would be cool. a single handed saber, with a handguard like a rapier or saber. I would be all about this, with or without a handguard, but especially if the handguard/emitter was MHS compatible. |

Hw bout a curved hilt saber? Always wanted one of these, and every curved saber I looked at has had bad reviews. Falls apart, doesn't work, electronically died within a week...I'd want something (and for my first purchase) to be from someone who's gotten outstanding reviews and amazing quality.

OK, I'm gonna suggest something that may be impossible with the workings of a saber, but how about offering illuminated AV switches on ALL sabers, regardless of being fitted with sound?

Not impossible it would need to be more of a latching switch. |

Can that be done though? I just think that it would remove some rather "ugly" black switches from some rather GORGEOUS silver chrome hilts. (sorry, just a personal opinion) |

It's all in finding an economic option for short enough latching switches. Latching AV switches are out there, but they aren't always priced low enough to make it worth the while to get them as opposed to the regular black switches.

I think there should be a cheaper alternative for non-illuminated AV switches. I don't like the AV switches for the most part since you'd mostly be covering it up as you use the saber thus rendering the light feature useless, but on the other hand the raised momentary switches are edged and uncomfortable in the palm when in use. There's an advantage for the otherwise smooth switches here, but again the lighting feature just seems too expensive for what you actually get and yet they provide a non-illuminated option at the same price. So what I really want is a less obtrusive smooth metal momentary switch without the lighting feature that only costs, say, $5 or $10 extra. I think it would allow for much better looking and feeling sabers without an otherwise useless feature IMO.
