Shock CE: Nickel plated with grooves milled back to the regular aluminum color. Imagine the black areas of the Dark Shock only nickel plated instead of black. I think it would look great.

So, rather than buying a whole new LED Module (metal cylinder, focusing lens, metal screw bottom, LED IC board, and connecting wires), is there a way to get just the LED IC board?...or is there a reason why these are sold complete? I'm wanting to change my blade color but don't want to have an entire extra LED module laying about.

If you have an LED with Flash on Clash a lot of the time they are RGBW LEDs so you could just resolder it to the configuration that you wanted  Also you could always purchase it from the manufacturer (LEDengin), or send the guys at US an email requesting it. Keep in mind that the manufacturer doesn't have the wiring on the board so you will have to do it yourself. |

I wonder if US has ever thought about applying a rubber coating on some of their hilts. Such as the Manticore and Malice.... The black anodizing already looks similar to it, and I've always thought that it would make them easier to whip around. Now this has made me think of Choke Points on sabers... there are a few models with great choke points, but the Catalyst's CP hampers the saber overall it would seem. Since the blade can't go down far enough, and there aren't two blade retention screws, I feel I'd be worried about heavy dueling. Although, since that choke point is so narrow...I almost think they made that saber for the flourishers among us.

A better ad. Don't get me wrong US ad placement is amazing! It's just that the ad its self doesn't look very good. Maybe showing some hilts and a pic of it in the dark?
