After reading that manual, I am so psyched I took the plunge and dropped the dough for a Diamond controller; this looks so cool. It also answered a few questions I had (like whether you could have multiple sounds for swing and clash and all that), though I have to admit that I don't grok accent lights. Didn't even know that was a thing; I thought there were only the RGBW LEDs. Still, I'm sure I'll figure it out.  |

Accent lights, description taken directly from the diamond controller manual: The Diamond Controller can drive up to 8 LEDs. It has 4 power channels for blade illumination, able to drive a RGBW LED at up to 1 A/channel, and 4 accent channels for accessories such as an illuminated switch or a crystal chamber, able to drive independent low-power LEDs at up to 50 mA/channel. Any accent channel can be assigned to the built-in battery monitor, which visually signals the charging state of your batteries. Note: I've seen people add side lights, a neo-pixel pommel bar, extra illuminated switches for different effects; just note, the more accent lights/devices attached, the faster your batteries will be drained. |

It takes some playing around with it, but once you get used to it, you'll never want to go back. I made the mistake of getting an emerald after having diam,ond for a while and was severely disappointed as a result XD |

So...these will in no way illuminate the blade, then? |

Emerald isn't bad by any means, but if you're changing colors a lot and when you might not be able to connect to a computer, diamond is best Changing colors a lot is definitely in the cards. Oh, my, yes. |

Aye agreed. Also I know its much less likely and all (and im sure there would be a chunky additional charge) but a native crystal chamber I'd be willing to sacrifice the wallet for |

I wouldn’t think so, because there are plenty of 4 pronged emitters places (including the Ultrasabers Catalyst). I have a 2 prong staff (and soon a single saber too) from individual smiths, all of which ch are combat grade. The staff has a nice tuning fork effect to the emitter when there is no blade in lol |
