Is Emerald Green still a blade color? If not can we bring it back as a regular color option?

Does anyone have any idea how long a staff made from two Specters would be, if I used Menace emitters.

@ Blind Jedi: It's just an approximation (since I don't own one) but from site specifications the staff you're talking about building would be 25.35 inches from emitter to emitter when assembled. So about 2 feet with 1.35 inches extra, just your overall hilt without blades. 18 inches each hilts without emitters or pommels approximately (assuming the Spectre pommel is about .75 inches). 5.6 inches for 2 Menace emitters, 1.75 standard staff coupler. Just incase anyone wants to doublecheck the math: (from emitter base to pommel end) 9.75" x 2 - pommels (assumed to be .75") = 2 hilt grips. Menace emitters are 2.8" x2. Standard coupler 1.75" Total 25.35"

Awesome, thank you. I think I need one of these, right now. Point in coming.

No problem, sounded like a nice design so I was glad to help out. I like the way those parts will go together, it's a pretty interesting setup.

I'm not gonna double check the math, thats just not my thing but I will say that Darth Prodigal seems to know what he's talking about. I would just like to add that in my personal experience with staffs and single blades, I feel like things work out best if you hold what would be the highest choke point with the saber or staff pointing down and trim the blades so that they barely touch the ground while in a semi low combat stance. Every saber I own has a custom cut blade so I dont accidentally hit the ground. It's just a thought and I know plenty of people want 40 inch sabers. More power to them, I just find this a bit more practical coming from Kinjutsu. I believe a member named Solstice Lacer (forgive me if that is wrong) posted an exelent tutorial on cutting down blades in case anyone is interested.

Hi there Beeblebrox, It was fellow member Robyn_Goodfellow who posted the tutorial on cutting blades and diffusion film to size. You can find her thread here: http://www.saberforum.com/index.php?topic=44182.msg750498#msg750498Solstice_Lacer however has a very unique pike/naginata (I think that's the term) Pole-arm like saber she named "Solstice Lancer". Solstice is also a fine artist and posts her paintings in the Bragging Rights section. Her topic is titled "Showing Off Some Art"" You can find it here: http://www.saberforum.com/index.php?topic=43165.msg738323#msg738323Hope this helps out (and please check out the art when you have a moment!)

Hi there Beeblebrox, Well, hello there For. (see what I did there?) Indeed it was! My bad. Great video! Props to Robyn_Goodfellow for that one! I had a feeling I was randomly mixing people up for some reason. Solstice_Lacer however has a very unique pike/naginata (I think that's the term) Pole-arm like saber she named "Solstice Lancer". Solstice is also a fine artist and posts her paintings in the Bragging Rights section. Yes. A fine weapon from an amazing artist of both canvas and sabers. I don't always comment everywhere but I see almost everything. I've seen her paintings and find myself at a loss where my words feel like they'd be meningless, so I don't think I've ever commented. All I can say is that they are REALLY good. Transcendental and sureal. Maybe I should pop over and just say that to show support. Apollogies to Solstice_Lacer and Robyn_Goodfellow for the mix up. Definitely check out Robyn's video if you want to cut down your blade, check out Soltice's art... and if you're not already familliar with this master saber desinger right here: http://www.saberforum.com/index.php?topic=40017.msg670197#msg670197I higly recomend checking him out as well. You're in for a real treat.

I think they should do Frankensaber grab bags. Make them like 300-500. 2 tiers, the first would be a mash up of different pieces they have and have light. Then the higher tier could be totally unique Frankenstein saber designs. The reason is because I don’t have enough to just spend $1300 to get a free one ever, but this way would be a little more manageable. Plus it gives everyone a chance of getting a special saber. Just a thought

I think there should be a build a saber option, emitters, pommels, hilt, couplers, and so on. I’d love to have a fully completed saber show up at my door, electronics installed, ready for battle.

I agree with BlindJedi. Points awarded. You should be able to build your own Frakensaber.

The Build-A-Frankensaber option, should it ever be implemented, would of necessity be a high-priced choice, regardless of how many “pieces-parts” were used. Any variation from the standard set of build procedures adds cost to the build, and by having such a huge number of options, the cost would skyrocket. This is probably why they are NOT currently being offered now; anything that complicates the build process adds in cost and quality-control issues.
I’m not saying this wouldn’t be cool; I’m just pointing out one possible reason why we don’t already have it.

This (although I'm pretty sure some other guys already provide such a service. Not sure if it is that expensive) and also not taking interest away from the frankensaber events...
