You can tell I'm not someone with kids...or a guy...because I was totally thinking weapons safety (point a gun at the ground and never at someone unless you mean to fire), or paintball or something.

Girls have it easy, I guess. And I've seen a few clips from Full Metal Jacket...oddly enough though, it's horror genre movies rather than war movies that mess me up. But I'm not going to tell OTHERS not to watch those movies. Your fun is not wrong (as long as it doesn't involve egging my house, etc.  |

I love horror movies. The scarier the better. Anyone can do a slasher flick nowadays, but it takes a real artiste to genuinely terrify the audience without resorting to cheap tactics.

I agree. I haven't seen a movie that truly scared me in ages. Gore doesn't impress me and copious vomiting will just make me watch something else. Seriously, get some new "scare" tactics. That whole "gross out" style isn't scary. |
