It grinds my gears that opinions about opinions are somehow ok to be expressed, but the original opinion was considered whining and moaning. Opinions like about a movie you aren't supposed to complain about, but you can complain about the complaining. So, I guess I'm hear to complain about the complaining about the complaining. I was ok with the complaining, even when I didn't completely agree with all of it. I guess I just think feelings are valid, unless they invalidate other's feelings.  |

You never mentioned you called the police to fill a complaint, you said you had a lot of friends in blue and one took care of it for you. So any person reading that could assume you just called a friend.
If you filled a complaint and they went to talk to the guy that is their business. I still am not sure why they would do that since at that point they couldn't give him a ticket etc.. And yes things are very different here. We hardly have enough officers to answer emergency calls.
Well, your assumption was incorrect, now wasn't it?  But no hard feelings, man. Stuff on the internet is SUPER easy to misinterpret. Our dojo taught Aikido to half the police force here, so yeah, we're all connected. We take care of each other however we can. We've got a lot of cops that live in the neighborhood here also and if you mention that you saw/heard something, they'll take it upon themselves to check it out. It's just how this town is. That's why I've lived here most of my life. They don't get in trouble for that. One gave the neighbor a good talking to because her jerkface dog is always running around trying to nip at other animals (and kids!). People are idiots. And speaking of idiots . . . Lady came into the store the other day with the flu. She had a mask on and we all backed up like she had the plague. She explained that she "wasn't done Xmas shopping yet" and that she "had to" be out, so her doctor gave her this mask . . . which she probably would have never worn otherwise. She was coughing the entire time and not bothering to cover because she had on the mask. Seriously? You're going to come into our VERY small business that has less than 15 people on staff with the damn flu right before the holidays so you can buy A PENCIL with some music notes on it?? Lady, get the hell out. "Inconsiderate" doesn't even begin to cover this. We Lysol'ed and bleached the whole damn store after she left. |

I've been fighting something all week, generally feeling worn out, tired, achy, congested, etc.
Now I have three days off... guess who woke up today with a full blown stomach flu...
I am really going to be one grinchy b@$t@rd if I spend my Christmas vacation sick... on the plus side, it does keep me from having to deal with family I don't want to see.

Guess no more sabers for me then x.x Just glad and surprised that I can post with my one off custom Sith saber. I was looking forward to something totally new too. Yes I have to call it quits on sabers even if I need new blades or repairs so x.x

Few months back I had blood work and my red blood cell count was high..
Thought cuz my weight, the assumption would be I have sleep apnea.. of course.. anytime you have slight bit of body fat, you gotta be diabetic and have sleep apnea. Drink more water, which I already naturally do, and watch my diet. In this time too, I started urinating cloudy.. and having pain in my kidneys. Not daily, like short spurts in the day. Took a urine sample and everything was clean.
So I lost 30 lbs in the past 4 months.. more blood work. RBC count still elevated.. took a sleep study recently, for sleep apnea..
Not sleep apnea...
I see the doctor in 3 weeks.. my kidneys hurts like hell.. I'm drinking water like crazy man.. and urinating, feels like a monkey yanking on them.. could be stress of the divorce, I don't know at this point.. but freaking sucks ass..
With these things I find it's better not to read about them. Going by the internet, everything seems to be cancer, when it's usually something less serious(kidney stones for instance). I learned this last year during this time. I had a bad bought of constipation, everything from my stomach to my groin was in pain. The internet had me convinced it was cancer, until my doctor took xrays and told me "You're full of sh*t, literally. We just need to get you regular again and you'll be fine." We tried everything possible until a very strong prescription laxative was finally needed, and took care of it in a few days(I had no health insurance, at the time, so we were trying not to use expensive prescriptions and/or specialists.) I was drinking cocktails of multiple over the counter laxatives and prune juice for over a month, not tasty, and didn't really work all that well, nor did dietary tweaks(eating more fiber, etc.), fiber pills, nothing worked. I feel your pain.  I eventually stopped doing my own research for peace of mind, and it helped. Stress won't do you any good. |

Turned out to be a tiny tear in the center of the cartilage that didn't need surgical repair at all. As long as I'm careful, it won't get worse. But man, did I freak myself out trying to "diagnose" it. Never again!
