Monday sucked... Tuesday I woke up, praying it was Friday, but alas, there were still 4 days until Friday. Tuesday was worse than Monday.
FYI, whoever the hell decided, with the latest version of AutoCAD, that you have to have an internet connection at all times for the software to function (It checks the license on start up and at random intervals) needs to publicly flogged. Granted, it's a great way to spend 2-4 hours at work doing absolutely nothing, especially since our phones are VOIP as well, but when some clients have your company cell phone number... Yeah, you just get farther and farther behind in a week that was already spawned in hell.
Went from 9 jobs assigned to me, to 26, managed to get it whittled back down to 17 by 5:30 yesterday... I bet I'll have 2 calls over the weekend (Which I'll ignore) and a dozen emails by Monday, wondering where no fewer than 10 of the projects are. And every one will be from idiot clients that don't seem to grasp the concept of time. Sending a job that will take 4-8 hours to review and estimate, will NOT be done by 9am Monday, when you sent it to us at 4:58pm on Friday.

Looks like I'm gonna have a new car payment soon, or at least the equivalent of one.
Got the estimate on how much my dental work is going to cost me: $46K

Complete removal of all my existing teeth, implantation of eight titaniun implants (four on top and four on bottom), and the crafting and implementation of a set of prosthetic teeth (which attach to the titanium implants). |

Yes, but I am 41 years old. I am not going to spend what could very well be the last half of my life (or more) worried about being in the middle of a conversation and suddenly having my teeth winding up in someone's wine glass. Screw that. If I were 71 or even 61, I would consider it. But not at this age. |
