How did you guys find US

I found my way here after looking to find a service to convert my old broken MR Mace Windu, nonetheless i never got around to sending it in to them when they still did conversions. I ended up with a friend's pvc Dominix around the same time and that held off my needs for a saber for awhile, but eventually had to get one of my own.

My first real experience with light sabers was my dad taking me to see the new digitally remastered Star Wars episode IV, then around the release of the new episode V i recall constantly badgering my dad to tell me how much the light sabers where in the new movie (I knew by this point he'd seen the originals) which I suspect marks the beginning of my obsession, since then I've also considered building a real saber (come on, who hasn't) a love of magnets and video games eventually led me to the idea that one could suspend super heated plasma around an Halbach array connected to some sort of ceramic emitter, as that's proving difficult to finance I guess I pulled away from the topic for a long long time until some genius though that an Ultra Sabers add would go brilliantly on the Unofficial Skyrim wiki (the wiki background is fairly light pastel shades so a jet black add with a pair of clashing sabers sticks out a bit) thusly another obsession was formed :-)

 i wanted one years ago. I drooled over the dark initiate v2 at the time in 2007 but it didnt have sound and others were pricey for me at the timne so i didnt get one. Couldnt remember what sight it was from because the website has changed some but i found US again this year. And behold....Dark intiate V3 WITH SOUND and MHS pomels

Last fall I was just watching reviews on ThatGuyWithTheGlasses and an ad popped up. I didn't pay much attention as I thought it was just a viral thing. But curiosity got the better of me and after 3 weeks after my first visit to the site, I ordered my first two stunt sabers. A CG dark Libby for my little bro and a FO DSI for myself.

When I ordered it I selected the vert. grooves option, but got the normal version when I opened the package. I was only disappointed for all of 5 seconds before I realized this thing was AWESOME!!! BUT thanks to the grab bag, I did finally get my vert grooves DSI!

A simple wander of the eye and nothing was the same again!

I cant remember why, but a few years ago i looked into where i could get an fx lightsaber and the price. it was still just window shopping then, i couldnt afford one. Not long after I did a lightsaber choreography workshop at a summer camp I was a peer tutor on, and that got me interested again. Same year a friend got an fx saber. But still couldn't afford a saber. Got myself a foam kids one for a costume party (it was more realistic length than most kids ones and cheap). at the start of this year I went to comic con, first day went normal clothes, had to come back next day dressed up in my Jedi outfit- and all the people walking around with sabers made me really really want one!! Luckily there weren't any for sale at the con- coz after that I googled lightsabers, found a FX retailer but wanted a removable blade saber for cosplay, and found ultrasabers further down the list. They looked a decent price compared to some other saber makers. Followed the link to this forum, browsed around a bit, then got an archon v2.1 in AB with silver foc and sound for my birthday and just in time for a costume party. This thing is an absolute beauty, my partner wanted one from the second he held mine, and after playing with mine my sis wants one as well. So in the near future, funds permitting, we will be getting their two choices, plus a consular in GB and shock in DVA for me. And sometime in the future I'm lining up a prophecy if its still around
