My buddy bought a Dark Initiate V3 LE in CG a few months back, so of course I had to customize it for him! These are shrouds made out of PVC. Him and I are both pleased with it so far, however I had to convince him to allow me to drill into it! This is the first draft of it so far. Im going for a simple and elegant, yet functional look. I feel I acomplished that but Im not through yet. Tell me what you think! My buddy is a forum member his forum name is Vanor, he is almost never on here but I hope to change that!   The sides are cut out to get access to the choke point I need to carve them out some more to get a better feel. The two points at the emitter are intentionally off set, and I might make it look a little bit more obvious. I did not add any thing to the lower grip below the switch, we both agree it looks better that way, and I didnt want to cover up the shiny grooves. I'll have more pics soon! |

srams, your aftermarket work never ceases to amaze me. You ever thought about approaching the owners for a job or are you like me and scared you would never work just play with sabers all days long?  |

Of course!!! I think it would be so awsome to work for them, but they dont offer PVC anymore and that is my specialty! Or it would be cool to be sponsered by them and get free sabers to work (play) with! Im working on something much more mind blowing right now that you are all going to want to see!

I'm really digging the design of those shrouds. I might look into doing something similar on the Initiate V3 that I am hoping to purchase soon. I might need to ask you about tips and the techniques you used to do that. It looks great though. The non-semetrical aspect of them being not lined up perfectly works really well. I always liked when the area where the emitter is on a lightsaber has assymetry.
