Hi everyone!
I know this is a little overdue but I've been busy unfortunately.
Ill get the wordy stuff out of the way first (for those of you who are lazy there will be a video review later).
Hilt:
The dark shock is a gorgeous hilt. The alternating black and silver gives it an equally sithy or jedi look. Its down to which colour you choose. The area between the emitter and the first ridge makes a great holding point. If you have gloves even the emitter would be a comfortable grip. The non-illuminated AV switch fits really well in the hilt, both aesthetically and comfort-wise.
Blade:
The UEHG blade is heavier than i anticipated! That thing is solid; really solid. I dont think theres anything that could break it... Personally if you will be swinging your saber indoors then unless you're blessed with a huge mansion with a ballroom you will probably need to ask to have your blade cut down to at least 32". This would also help shift the balance point of the blade closer to the emitter. The balance as it stands with a 36" UEHG is about 2-3" from the emitter.
Accessories:
The blade plug, Covertech clip, and recharge port are all great. I wouldnt put to much strain on the charger's plug. The socket in the hilt seems sturdy but the 2.5mm jack seems like the wires could break.
Sound:
The Obsidian sound and software is really amazing. It is really high grade, loud sound. The pommel creates a great resonance cavity too. I was a little disappointed in some of the free sound fonts. A lot of them werent very well put together... the pitch of the hum sound on the swing and the pitch of the idle hum were completely different... lost a lot of realism. Some of them had a long time between swings. My two favourites which I have picked up were from Novastar's compilation. The EP1 and the Black Star fonts. Both of these work very well. Also the Recharge port acts as an extra sound hole. If you cover the pommel holes, you can notice a difference between recharge port covered and uncovered.
Electronics:
I am a little worried about my quick disconnect. It seems to be burried behind the AV switch and i cant reach it. I have tried tugging on it like was suggested but nothing has happened for the time being. It doesnt affect me much as I have no other MLS modules.
Picture time:
My camera ran out of batteries after doing the early pictures so ill upload some full blade pictures later.

Those last two are a pretty good look of what emerald green looks like.
Thanks for reading guys!
Ill have some more pictures and a video uploaded soon.
Valek.
