I recently was made aware of a site with Medieval clothing and I think I potentially found my costume aside from a belt and a mask (have the mask). What do you guys think?

Hmm... looks very interesting.  For Star Wars, you should probably avoid laces on the boots, but otherwise it could very well work.  You were thinking for a Sith costume, right?

More or less. I like the black options rather than the white and brown robes of the traditional jedi. Despite my username, which I don't know how to change, I'm more of a grey area/sentinel. And you to bring up a good point. I'll see if I can find an alternative. I'm usually pretty good at finding things like that at thrift stores and retail stores. Thanks for the tip. I like to shy away from the traditional jedi clothing.

Hmm... yeah, that'll work nicely for a Grey.  The red might everyone automatically think "Sith" though.  Maybe if the tunic were a cooler color, it'd offset the sithiness of the black, and bring the overall appearance back toward grey some more.

Perhaps the earth green color then? Now I'm considering making the tunic and trousers green. I'm not worried about the saber matching the clothing as some people are. I'm getting a RGB so I'll have plenty of choice.

You get a point for going RGB.  I love mine, even if the mixed colors don't quite match their single-color counterparts in hue.

And yeah, earth green for the tunic would work well.  With the pants it might be a little too solid-color, but the green tunic definitely would work.  I have a forest green Jedi ensemble myself, with a dark dark green cloak.

This is true. It will be a while before I get these. At least another month so I have plenty of time to mull it over. Thanks for the advice.

I think that would be a very unique costume. But if you're going for a grey Jedi look, I would avoid red. Green would be a good option. I don't think that green pants would be too "solid". You don't see much of the pants anyway.

What I personally don't like that much is the golden trim. Maybe you could ask them to use a different trim. This shouldn't be a problem as this outfit is custom made.

I like the boots. They might be unusual for Star Wars, but you're not going for a traditional outfit anyway. But that's your decision.

That's a neat site! Simple, yet lots of ideas that could be converted to Jedi themes with little to no effort at all. I likes!

Darth Abba (sorry made me smile) do you sew?

Reason I ask...money saved etc...I liked your presented items and when I saw the trousers I saw a common pair of karate gi pants ($15-$18) with a section cut out of the back leg then laced ($2-$4).

This is a good thing in my book...it helps others see how easy a pair of Jedi pants can be to make  Smiley

The colors for your 1st item, that is the rub right?

I could do a quick photoshop of the color you like on the site photo to get an idea if you like, should only take a couple minutes...I will be at my computer later or this weekend if you would like some help in that direction  Smiley

Qui-Gon's pants looked like sack cloth that was hastiliy stitched together, or maybe just old. I love that look!

It would be greatly appreciated. Could you do green for the tunic and black for the coat and pants please?

Yep when I get back tonight...if there are a couple options let me know and will knock them out.

I will also make a white version so anyone could drop color in with a fill tool  Smiley

Another option is brown cloak and pants and green tunic. Thank you very much in advance.
