Life has really gotten in the way of saber building but here is an update to my twilek build. What you see here is the epoxy Clay added for color depth. It was supposed to be translucent Blue but i like the way it turned out. A fine grain sanding to come and some gloss will make them pop. i still need to build the internals ans the swith will mount to the sled. I am also work on the emitter, a brass lotus blossum should look schweet. Clay before baking  Clay after baking with set screw marks  |

Fantastic!
It certainly looks like something a Twi'Lek would carry.
My first thought about blade color is SRD, but that might be too much of the teal-like tone. Perhaps DVA would go nice without clashing too much. Blue and Purple are both very Twi'Lek colors.
Great concept and execution.

second one just went into the oven, I need to build the battery and switch sleds soon, but i maybe going with a diff LED .

Stunning. I am speechless. Words cannot express my admiration of the level of craftsmanship put into those sabers. I have dabbled with epoxy clay but have a lot to learn. Would love for you to give some tips on how you got there. Again, AMAZING.
