Now I couldn't let you jedis have all the fun now could I? Just got it in the mail after work and had to open it.    I plan on installing a red led and perhaps sound.

Its a 2-cell

This is just getting creepy now. I think I started a Fad...... Or rather, I started it, and Temple made it popular. lol This is great! Now there's a real through and through Darkside one coming out instead of all the blue and green shades we've had! XD I have to wonder though.... all three of you seem to have gotten the same 2 Cell variation with knobby looking silver piece where my red button was. Did I hack up a rare variation for mine? *shrug* Either way, welcome to the 2-Cell Conversion Family, Boss! Can't wait to see the Mando Version of one of these!

Ha, I know right? At first I didn't really care that much for the design of the heilands since I have always seen ani/vader/luke designs from vintage heiland builds in the past. Though that changed after I saw you guys getting these little 2 cells and making them into unique pieces. I thought it would be a great shoto/off hand saber next to my opppressor and both would be ideal for my imperial agent character/costume I've been trying to come up with.

That could work out nicely! Can't wait to see how it turns out. You know, I'm starting to think somebody should photoshop something together of all these 2 Cells we've got on the forum now. Something for our sigs maybe.

Zren, I believe everyone else has been getting theirs on ebay. I dug mine up at work, but it was sort of through a fluke. I was picking up a load of merchandise from a Movie Prop House in Burbank, and they had a LOAD of old cameras, flashes, etc and the owner was kind enough to give me mine. I hope to snag another one through ebay or other means sometime in the distant future. I'd really like to do one in FO to pair with Ann.

Yep, several Heiland's and Graflex's on Ebay... I went looking the other day, just in case I really wanted to go that route.  As comfortable as I am with my electronics skill, I don't think I'm ready for a full scratch build yet.
