In order to replace the Archon neck with a vented coupler is any re-wiring required?

Oh... Wow... Looking through this thread...  I actually went "oh god, stop, please stop, it's too much!"  But don't stop, it's awesome.

i don't know what it is, but those red rings get me everytime.  i don't think the gold rings did until you started shoving Reaper parts in with them.

Very nice! Im glad I requested this! But it looks like there is some thread showing from the emitter. Does it not screw in all the way?

Not "some", all the thread (is showing).  Smiley  As per my caption on the first pic, the Reaper's windowed-neck has no threading whatsoever; neither male nor female.  The Reaper's slanted emitter tip slides on top of it and is held in place with two set screws.

The Malice emitter isn't big enough to slip over, and can't screw into, the Reaper neck.   Sad

Thanks Ee'.  You know how I hate it and I only do it for you...  Wink

Pardon the musical pun in the (subject), but I was swapping the nickel pommels between my Consu-Lord and Graf and was inspired.  

With the 2-tone of the CE Graf, a silver trim ring 'tween the body and pommel just works:






Although I've yet to come across nickel trim rings, a silver grooved ring with a black o-ring reflects the light such that you can fool your eyes that it's nickel.  Didn't fool the camera quite as easily.   Smiley  Also adding just an o-ring between body and pommel give just that pinch of detail/refinement:

 






Speaking of nickel, a stumbled upon a 16-mm NICKLE(!) momentary switch.  Is that our standard Ultra Sabers size?  Where my Consu-Lord is all nickel (and black), I didn't want the silver AV option (to clash).   Embarrassed Grin
