i love the old style jedi outfit, so i made a costume. arm wraps, jedi robe, black utility belt and grey hoodie. belt has a cut off torch pocket that my saber fits in, blade included.
robe almost hides the blade, so it just looks like my hilt. i think it looks great!




also got a nerf nitefinder to practice blaster deflection for my soresu. thought i might as well make it look like a star wars blaster.

That looks great, FYD! I love how well the torch holder works there! Do you have a 32" blade, or a 36"?

What he said!  What did you use for the wrist guards/wraps?

EDIT: a quick search for the Nitefinder brought up this guy who took one apart.  Might help you mod yours.

Thats a good looking yet very basic costume. I like it, and it does have a very old republic feel to it which is a good thing since that is what you were going for.

just realised i was not wearing my gloves - i have a pair of leather gloves that compliment the costume, and as an added bonus they offer a bit of protection to my fingers. which i need, as they get hit hard all the time w/heavy grade blades. ouch.
