So I was taking a second look at my violet MLS unit and too the eye it looks very dark and indigo, but in pictures it looks to be a normal Violet. I was wondering. In person how does Dark Violet compare to Violet, is it just closer too blue? Also is Bane's Heart (being a variant on Violet) closer to a Mace Windu color? I ask because I wanted to make my Shock LE as close to his, that the eye can see, as possible. Shown here:  |

Here's my son's Prophecy in VA with a UEMG blade. It's not horribly off from Windu's, but the Prophecy shows a little more blue in the mix I think.  |

Banes Heart is definitely more Orange/Red.
But Dark and Normal look near identical in pictures.
Kham-Ryn Kurios can you try to describe the difference? Somehow XD

Surely.  I found this older picture I had taken on google this morning,  Left to Right: Bane's Heart, Violet Amethyst, Dark Violet Amethyst. Bane's Heart - The color Magenta, it's not like PO that is hard to pin because it's red orange and people see what they want to see(some will say more red than orange, some might say more orange than red), but BH is a straight magenta like this.  If the visible spectrum is wrapped to form a color wheel, magenta (additive secondary) appears midway between red and violet. Violet Amethyst - If you're looking for the color that Mace Windu uses, this is it. It does look very pink in pictures, but just as in the BH, there is more red in these mixtures than blue. Dark Violet Amethyst - This color is mixed with more blue giving it the dark hue. Some would say it is a more true purple.  Left to Right: Dark Violet Amethyst, Violet Amethyst. |

So if you got the rgb saber... could you add color discs to certain color combinations to make bans heart, sentinal yellow, and pyre stone?

Thats what I originally wanted as well when I ordered VA, it looked a lot like blue
so then went with DVA, looked the same as VA. From my understanding a real
violet/purple color is hard to make. Thats why I have Lee filters. They get a nice
violet color.
