Here is my Consular (Nickel Shroud)

I wanted this to look similar to Qui-Gon's saber. I know his has a red button, but I thought green would better match the hilt and the blade.

I also did get Quick Disconnect on it just in case, as I always do.

If any one is thinking of a consular.
Nickel Plating just makes it 10x better.
It actually protects from scratching better than plain aluminum and even over adonization.
It looks much deeper in the metal, its not that bad on finger prints as some people say, I can hardly tell.
Also dont worry about matching the pommel if you change, it's still close enough, plus the emitter is still silver.

Ill be getting Graflex CE now instead of SE just for the nickel
Not on my overlord though as I am swapping out the pommel onto other sabers.
If I ever get a monarch.

I wish they had a Nickel Plated Shock though I would buy that in a heart beat! Same with the Prophesy and the Aeon.

I love the plating.  Wife has a Graflex CE, i have a plated Consular.  They look so awesome.  Got my mother a Graflex SE (which she loves) and to me it just looks kinda plain and almost fugly because i'm so used to seeing the CE.

I dream of US offering a plated Manticore emitter.

And plated Reaper claws and shroud.



And lots of other things with the plating...

While nickel certainly shows smudges more, they wipe off easily...at least so far.  US can't give us enough nickel options.  Bring 'em on!

I am really wanting a Nickel Plated Shock LE. I wonder if the Nickel would cover up the gold, or just show it slightly.
