Hey all this is my first UltraSabers review so if it sucks let me know.

My Sabers:
2 Overlords with Obsidian Sound
No AV switch or FOC(which I regret Undecided )
Quick Disconnect
GB and BR led for both sabers
32 in. MG blade on both

Also sorry for the bad quality

<a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SUaEgUB3fuE" target="_blank" class="aeva_link bbc_link new_win">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SUaEgUB3fuE</a>

Here a written review in case you find my voice as annoying as I do.
Hilt Construction: 10/10
*The hilt is extremely sturdy. You can tell from the moment you touch it, that it is made of a strong metal.
* Features of the Overlord I found particularly nice are the grooves and the emitter windows. The grooves add a great texture grip to the saber and look great aesthetically. The emitter windows are very beautiful and are a great contrast to metal.
*I have read in other reviews that the sound produced by the standard pommel for the Overlord was not as loud as other pommels. While I can't speak for other pommels in my opinion the standard pommel produces a very sufficient volume.

Blade: 10/10
*The MG blade looks great in both GB and BR. It is an incredibly durable blade after several bouts of moderate to intense dueling the only sign of wear on the blades are a few nicks and scuffs, nothing that won't come out.

Notes:
*For saber combat the balance point seems to be slightly below the activation switch. This is also in my opinion the optimal place for a single handed saber grip. For two handed grip it seems the best grip points coincide with the grooves on the saber. This gives the best grip while giving the user a nice amount of torque for quick strikes. This is slightly complicated by the standard covertec wheel but this is not a big issue at all.

*I originally purchased the two sabers to be used as a double bladed saber, however the total length from tip to tip is approximately 7 feet long. This makes indoor practice a no go. However since the weather has taken a turn for the better I have no doubt I will be able to get the hang of it.

Finally, the most convincing praise of UltraSabers comes in the form of my long time girlfriend(who has never seen any of the Star Wars films). Ever since I told her of my plan to buy an Ultrasaber she had been skeptical about my spending so much on a "toy". On the day I got the Overlords she watched as I opened the package. As soon as she held the saber in her hands she proclaimed that it was money well spent and proceeded to drag me outside to spar. Now she is talking about maybe getting her own! haha

Nice review. I love the overlord. I want to get one soon. Probably in pyerstone.

Would you use each opposite color to make a mixed staff?

Nice. Looks good in Guardian Blue even though I saw your pictures of both. I agree for I have a Bellicose and its hard to double hand combat with it sometimes. But I sometimes find the right spots too.

The Overlord is a very nice saber.  I have mine with the standard momentary switch and it looks great there.

It is a very nice saber and handles beautifully for two hand combat.  Staff combat is hard due to its length but not impossible.

Welcome to the Overlord family and my Big Blue Army.  Great color choices for the Overlord!

Thanks. I never considered mixing the colors for the staff. I'm big on aesthetic balance for some reason the idea of mixing hilts for a staff doesn't sit well with me but colors sound interesting. I'll have to experiment.

Yeah it's not a big problem but there does seem to be a sweet spot that just feels right.

It is the intro song to my videos.  Good job on knowing my favorite song and a point will be awarded for such.

I just ordered my first Overlord. I notice in folks' sig files that not many folks seem to have them. Out of the few Ultrasabers available with RGB, I thought this one was one of the best options. I got the lighted AV switch in Orange (a la Tron) with RGB and of course FoC. Ordered an extra set of batteries so I can always keep a set charged. Took advantage of the May the 4th sale and saved over $60! That's serious money.

As an aside, I'm reading a lot of folks are coupling their sabers and are making a universal comment that the double sabers are too long to practice indoors (personally I can't practice indoors with a single blade either unless I'm in the vaulted ceiling parts of the house. My only double saber is a custom Parks I had made that looks more Darth Maul and I have both a magnetic and a threaded coupler. My point is, I ordered 30 inch blades instead of the usual 36 inch. Why aren't more folks even talking about that option? I saw on an Ultrasabers video there is a 32 inch blade available. Why is everyone stuck on a 36 incher? Makes a double saber much easier to wield, trust me.

I'll share more once my saber arrives, which won't be soon enough. That Pay Pal option of 6 months to pay makes it SO EASY to get the saber you want from Ultrasabers.

I don't think anyone is stuck on 36"...that's just the standard blade size.  For any staff I would recommend 32" at the long end, down to 24" at the short end, depending on the wielder's height.  I have 32" on my Phantom/Phantasm Initiate staffs, and they work out just fine.  I am 6' 3" and the staff is 6' 9.5".

I guess I forgot to mention in my review that both the blades on my Overlords are 32in. I just could not practice with the staff inside with out smacking into everything . You are right 36 is too long for most, I think 32 is the right size for stave work. I'm of average build and it works out fine for me but my friend who is a bit shorter than me had difficulties.

Congrats, the Overlord is great choice in my opinion.

Thanks! Just got my email saying it shipped today but FedEx has no record yet.

What did you do to order a 32 inch blade? I don't see them listed on US website. I did read somewhere you can request blade length when ordering. Is that in the special requests section of the order?
