As an aside...I tried to find a place to contact a mod. Seems a thread I started has been deleted...can't find it has been moved. If it violated some kind of weird rule then I should be told that instead of roughly figuring out for myself. It was a thread asking for reviews comparing Obsidian V2 vs V3. I can't find ANYTHING about the performance of the V3, either here, YouTube, or "the Google". It's like no one wants to talk about it. Weird.  The V3 has twice the rated speaker wattage as the V2 and no one is talking about it anywhere. Just seems odd since it would most likely be reviewed as a positive thing for Ultrasabers. Call me kooky.

i did a quick search and couldnt find anything on the v3 vs the v2 obsidian.... but i think it's basically the same thing... i think the big difference is the software... the new launcher is supposed to be more user friendly.... but in terms of actual performance i think its the same... same loudness, same amount of clashes and swings, etc.

I covered this in my Archon double blade saber review.  The newest Obsidian sound board has a safety feature as well to prevent accidental initiation of the clash sequence.  You have to push the button twice for lockup to be turned on for the first time.  I was glad to see this upgrade as this has happened on rare occasions with my older Obsidian sabers.
