So as the title says. I'm going to give it a go myself. regular War Glaive body, Manticore high pommel, and Overlord emitter. The blade will be Blazing Red with a regular Heavy Grade blade, the 4 AAA batteries and the buck puck. I might paint the grooves of the War Glaive body too. Got any tips on that? I think this will be a cool hilt. =]

Now I'm no expert at the whole electronics thing, but I think the lithium ion battery setup might be the better choice with the buck puck, unless the AAAs are good li-ion ones as well.

You should try for the Li Ions and give a go at a recharge port while you are at it.

Agreed, Zren. Plus you already have an extra set with your Bellicose if you need to change them on the fly.

I'll be honest here and admit this for the first time on the forum: I can't stand standard batteries as I have a four year old, and the dead ones just keep piling up (no pun intended).
