Converting a 2k10 FX ?

Hi there !!

First of all, I already apologize for any faults I can do. I suppose there aren't many frenchies over here. Son please don't beat me T_T

Have a few questions about conversions services. I already sent a mail to Deep via the site. But I totally forgot to give him some datas 'bout the saber I'd have to be converted. And for one reason : I sux.... Arh, nope.. I just didn't have enough datas concerning it when i wrote the mail. Now that I have them, and mainly in order not to annoy Deep again, I'm gonna ask my questions here.

The saber my lovely girlfriend offered me seems to be a Darth Vader's ANH saber, made by Hasbro, 2010. With that bloody Removable blade. And judging by the informations i gathered 'bout the conversion service, I just wanted to be sure that this type of saber could be converted to a Magnificent UltraFX. At least i truly hope so. Please, Tell me !

The second thing, still about Conversions. When I watched reviews about converted sabers, they all seemed to be more reactive to clashes and whooshes. When Ultra Sabers Convert 'em, do they change the soundboard or something ? I use the same example i used in my mail : When I hit mine 3 times, I'll have only one sound if I hit too quickly.

Another thing : Does someone know how the conversion service works for foreign countries ? I mean... Will I have to print something ? When I Simulate an order, I only have the Shipping cost.What about the sending ?.. Are they included in the price ? Please. Help me !

i cant really speak for US, but i have an older model vader they converted and you wont be dissapointed. as for the model, i'm not sure if the removeable blade conversions are offered or not. and as to the sensors being switched, i'm not sure if US changes them or not. it's ulikely they would switch out the swing sensors as its directly mounted to the boards. i change out my clash sensors if i do a conversion for a more sensitive one, but i haven't actually opened up my US to see if they do or not. alot of the sensitivity has to do with where in the hilt it gets placed however. hope any of that helped

The really thing I just need to know  : Can US convert a 2010 ANH Vader's saber because of its removable blade and how does the conversion service work with foreign countries like France, for my example... It's a bit far from you guys x)

By the way, I see plenty of new options for sabers. Maybe US should think of creating a Deluxe Conversion Service ! (I mean : Conversion of a FX with Li-On = Obsidian. *not interested at all*

Salut m'sieur, et nan t'es pas l'seul "Froggy" du coin. Pour l'envoi du sabre : direction la Poste et dépense de quelques billets pour l'envoyer, en leur posant gentiment la question ils te renseigneront bieeen mieux que moi. Après, essaie de voir avec d'autres transporteurs, ce qui n'est pas encore évident vu que not' bon service traditionnel fait qu'on n'a pas du tout l'habitude d'aller voir ailleurs.

Pour savoir si les p'tits gars d'chez US peuvent faire la conversion, c'est probable mais pour être sûr autant attendre une réponse officielle, histoire d'être sûr.

Hi ! We are some frenchies here, you're not alone ! As for the shipping : go to the next post office and spend a few bucks in an International Shipping package, if you ask them they will give you every information you need on this. Besides, try other carriers, but in France our traditional Post Office makes that we don't really know where to look for others.

And for the conversion, they might be able to do it, but let's wait for an official answer to that question, I don't want to say something stupid.


If some other foreigners have an answer to the international conversion, that should be nice to give us some more info.
