Especially when, growing up, you were at one point the tallest of all your friends. Then one year they all suddenly grew 3 inches taller. And I... I mean you < < stayed the same. Maybe grew one inch taller or so but... yeah

That's must suck. I stopped for a while at 5'4", but started growing again until I was a Junior in high school, then I got up to 5'7" and and stopped. |

Yeah the whole saber length thing is kinda tough to pin down, it always comes down to personal choice and what you're used to. I feel like the full sized staff with the 36" blades is just plain old unwieldy, unless you're a giant. I'm like 6' 2" and I found the staff with the 32" blades is good, though I'm sure the initiate staff would be good as well. Sounds like you're gonna have a pretty good setup with your order, enjoy!

OK, just got home. Measured our staffs/swords, Here's what I'm trying to approximate in a saber/staff:
Staff: 59"-64"
Sword: 34"-36" total length (26.5"-28.5" blade)
I showed the site to my wife and she wants a saber but I'm afraid a normal size might be too big at this point for her, if I can get her a 'manageable' sized saber I think she'd really dig it, bonus if we can actually use 2 as a staff. I'm kinda leery now about the blade length for initiate being long enough for single weapons... anyone with an initiate hilt/blade combo please let me know the length.
