zren, both my sabes have the green tint for the first little while, but keep in mind SY isnt an exact colour yet so you may not get the same colour that I have.

I'm really considering purchasing a consular in SY with white FOC and a red av switch. The sale is too good to pass up, but I just recently shelled out for a DVA dark liberator. This is turning into an addiction.
One question: what are the chances the blade color turns green towards the tip? I want to avoid that, and I don't want to have to use a filter since it will dim the blade.

They'll do that? Excellent. I wanted a more golden yellow. This helps my decision. Thank you. Now to convince myself that shelling out the money for such a beautiful idea is a good idea. |

I'm not a mod, but it is the 'Yellow' thread not the "Elitist SY Club" (of which I am the president.  ), so long as it's yellow I'd say it's permissible. |

I'm really liking the yellow color I made so I will keep it on my Aeon V3. Just wish I could get me a regular Heavy Grade blade. I never hit hard anyway so I'm good with the regular Mid. I'll see what it looks like on UEHG since I have some spares anyway.

Here is my yellow I made. Using Lee Deep Amber and Deep Straw filters. I call it Deep Yellow. =] So do I look good with a yellow blade? This is a regular Mid Grade blade by the way.  |
