It's a shade of green. It's green and blue mixed, tinted more to the green side. Also, Master Nero mentioned it as being OK in the opening post of this thread.

It's also acceptable in the blue thread. (though, it's more green to me)

So a hybrid of sorts? Another reason why I love the SRD

Nox, is that av actually green or sunriders? I’m under the impression there isn’t a sunriders option for the illuminated av.

Actually it's green. But it still goes rather well with the SRD blade. I don't believe SRD is an option for the A/V Switch.

I share the opinion that it belongs in the green post. I consider the green thread to be for CG and SRD and the blue thread for GB and AB (two each seems more fair)

SRD is a beautiful color. It may not really be a canon color but I would definitely love it if there was a Jedi with such a saber in a Star Wars movie.

It’s pretty much my favorite saber color, canon or not.  I first came across it in the comics which is legends now but the story and the color got me to like it.  I agree with you, it would be refreshing to see it in a future movie especially since Disney is going to have a new storyline soon.

You can have a cyan crystal for your saber in Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords, the resulting blade is very similar to Sunrider's Destiny. So, if you ignore the Disney canon and go with the EU, SRD is definitely a legit color. Plus, it's gorgeous.

Agreed, it does and I didn’t know the cyan in KOTOR was closento SRD.  Thought it was just a color blip. Point I prefer legends over the Disney canon for the most part anyhow

Basically I don't believe there ever was any definitive list of colors in the Star Wars universe. All we really know is that the color comes from crystals in the hilt. I've seen some pretty different shades and colors in natural crystals in my life so I think a lightsaber can come is ANY color.

I sure hope so. Didn’t really care for Disney’s Sith crystal position and I love in legends now, how certain Jedi like Mace Windu came across their specific crystal and colors

It's too bad the SRD on the Shock comes off as more blue on camera. The consular is running a Tri CREE XP-E2 in GGW, and the Dark Sentinel has a different CREE in RGBW. So, I set it to green. I think my next saber from Ultrasabers is going to be a Tri CG. I love that color. I have one that's a Tri CREE XP-E2 in GGG, but it's in a saber from a different company, so no pics here. But, it's stupidly bright.

The Consular’s classy as always but that Shock in SRD is my favorite Shock right now! I’m also partial to SRD so keep that in mine.  Point

I'm debating whether I want to change the color on the Consular. I used to say I wouldn't do one in green then, when I finally bought an empty and built it, it's green.  But, I like it. It really does suit the hilt. I think it goes great with the black anodizing. I like the darker hilts in green and blue.
