I don't have a photo as I don't actually have a saber yet (I'm in the process of choosing my hilt). As for the colour, purple is the winner no contest! Stands out from the crowd and looks a little more fancy than the others  By the way, can anyone tell me whether VA, DVA or BH is closest to Mace Windu's lightsaber colour? VA is probably closest. I personally prefer DVA, but let's be honest -- comparing VA to DVA is like comparing one pile of gold to another pile of gold. In other words, they're both awesome. |

I got a purple saber and i'm having some problems. I was using it and when the battery began to die the color changed to red. I tried charging the battery but that didn't help. I looks duller as well, can someone help me out. I'm not sure what to do.

I just got my first saber in today. A manticore in VA with AS FoC, and red illuminated AV switch. I want to open it but I have to wait for my friend who's saber was shipped with mine.

Really would like a VA Bellicose but my concern is that it will look too pink... In a few pictures it looks that way but I know pictures rarely capture the pure color of it... Is it a true purple or does it look kind of pink?

From what I've read, I think DVA is closer to a true purple while VA is closer to Mace Windu's saber color. I have a Monarch in VA and I don't think it looks that pink at all. |

My VA is a true purple. In my opinion it is the perfect shade. I haven't seen DVA in person so I couldn't give you a comparison, but here is a better representation of the color...mainly what is given off on the background.  |

so I can officially post here now, coz my DVA MLS arrived  took advantage of the 10% off sale and my accumulated loyalty points and got myself a few goodies. at first I was a bit like yeah its ok (was in the sunlight)- but when its darker its a beauty!!! my camera doesn't give an exact representation, it is a bit more blue in person I chucked it in my consular (with HG blade)  and as my archonsular with my new vented coupler- this is now my favourite combination!!! I was grinning a bit like a little kid at Christmas after putting it together and turning it on  . MG blade here    |
