Hey everyone! I was one among us to be lucky enough to win the raffle(first time ever) and clearly by the title... You all know I received a third place saber which was a random grab bag. It shipped with my qualifying order which was so awesome! I was notified of my win on Tuesday night, and by Friday I had the order and raffle prize in hand! I received a War Glaive!! WOO! It came without claws, making it look kind of like a shaved puppy... but still sooo awesome.  And here is the Manticore in SY we(Dharek Jal) ordered to qualify in the raffle. Incredible saber  We ordered the Manticore and 3 Yari extensions with couplers, and a 16inch blade to construct a fearsome spear. (Video fight to come once we finish the choreography)  Again thank you SO MUCH to US for selecting me for a raffle prize! And thank you so much US for making such incredible products! |

That looks awesome! Congratulations on getting an awesome prize - is that in Arctic Blue?
That Yari extensions are great for changing the feel of your 'sabres, but I'd not thought about going full-on pike like that... Hmmm...

A War Glaive is a grab bag prize? That's awesome, and a great looking spear too. I Gus's if you don't want the shaved puppy look you could buy the claws separately. Congratulations on the awesome win!

VERY cool! I actually really like it without the claws haha. One question: I thought the Manticore was Sentinel Yellow, so why does it look Adegan Silver in the spear pic?

My entrance light is on, and is overpowering the fickle SY LED. Plus my cellphone camera has a tough time picking up these saber colors. Although I've now taken the War Glaive, popped that 16inch blade onto it, and have been swinging that around. The 3 yari plus a saber is pretty heavy, I'm surprised I haven't taken out a light fixture or my own shin yet.

That spear is ridiculously heavy compared to what you'd expect...and that's a good thing. Really gives your strikes some heft to 'em. The sentinel yellow looks beautiful with the Manticore (we also got an Orange LED so it really pops). And that war glaive is LIGHT! it's the exact opposite of the spear and is beautiful for flourishes.

Yeah, the spear is only about 5 lbs... but try gripping it at the very bottom, and holding it parallel to the ground. Then imagine swinging it around like that. OW!
