UGH, I hated Collin Baker, his doctor was so damn arrogant, and that outfit of his was god awful.  I like Matt though, I feel he combines the "old man" in the "kid's" body really well.  Plus he's so...elastic Tongue.   I didn't like William Hartnell either, i found him boring.

Just moving into Series 5 with the fiancee now, and loving having Stephen Moffet at the helm full time.  Of course, Matt Smith and Karen Gillan definitely make this season worthwhile (with Karen being quite easy on the eyes).

Still miss David Tennant though... his final episode was actually amazing IMO.  Best acting he did in his whole stint as the Doctor.

David will be beak in the DW 50 anniversary special in November, with Billie Piper!  David Tennant is also on the new smash hit BBC show Broad church where he plays a police detective.  They are doping an American version of it too, it will have a different name but the working title is Broadchurch for now.  They have just announced that David Tennent's police character in in the BBC version will also be played by David Tennent in the American version!!!

Yeah I like Matt a lot too, going to miss him after Christmas Sad

copy/paste

It's been announced that 9 missing episodes of Doctor Who have been discovered. All the episodes are from the Second Doctor’s era and come from two stories – The Enemy of the World and The Web of Fear.

The Enemy of the World first aired on BBC One in December, 1967. Episodes 1, 2, 4, 5 and 6 had been missing from the BBC archives but have now been found which means that a complete version of this classic six-parter now exists.

Episodes 2 – 6 of The Web of Fear were feared lost forever but now episodes 2, 4, 5, and 6 have been recovered. This means that now, aside from episode 3, this adventure also exists in its entirety.

Both stories star Patrick Troughton as the Doctor plus Frazer Hines as Jamie and Deborah Watling as Victoria. The Web of Fear introduces the much-loved character Alistair Gordon Lethbridge-Stewart (later known as the Brigadier) whilst The Enemy of the World is unique insofar as Patrick Troughton also stars as the story’s main villain – the evil Salamander.

Many old school fans know there are many episodes missing from the BBC archive of the First and Second Doctor era.  Getting a whooping nine episodes recovered is a large boon for us Who fans, especially considering Enemy of the World is now complete and Web of Fear is only missing one episode.

Anyone watch An Adventure in Time and Space?

It's a very sweet tribute to the late William Hartnell.

I have now watched Day of the Doctor 3 times...  *SQUUUUEEEEEEEEE* *Fangasm*

I actually got to see the worldwide simulcast, so got to see it with no commercials and the tv's just been left on BBC America all day.

So without dropping any spoilers, that was probably the most satisfying fan experience I've had since the second Death Star exploded over Endor...

Saw the Day of the Doctor tonight on the big screen in 3D.  It was great. Too bad it wasn't in 12D...

Doctor Who plays in all dimensions, for all of time.  Smiley
