A big second on this!! While the Consular is cool, I'm not that keen on owning one. I'm really interested in the Manticore though!!  |

Very good question! I would be guessing that Ultra is getting everything finalized with the new sound board and the Consular, so hopefully we will see something of the Manticore this upcoming week or the week after. Dont quote me on that though. Either way, really excited to see the Manticore. The Consular is great, but still a little too pricy for me. Hopefully the other one is around the Standard Issue price range....hopefully....

Head over to the discussion part of the boards and check out the "New Saber Incoming" thread. The first pic on the second page should show you three different emitters with three different colored blades. Only the top of the hilt is shown, though. Resembles the Maul saber so far.

Ultra said that the "Manticore" was supposed to be released right now, but because All of Us (myself included) were screaming to nerd heaven about the Counselor, he released the Counselor ahead of schedule, and pushed back the Manticore. Maybe it's just my INSANE Happiness at the Amazing New News of the Counselor and the Obsidian Sound Board, but let's give Ultra some time on the beach with a Margarita, before we all start screaming at him for MORE, More, MORE!!!!!!!!!!! like the unhealthy Americans We Are lol  |

I don't want to rush them but i guess it's cause I know the manticore will be out soon so I can't wait to see it especially cause I don't really like the consular. It resembles qui gons saber to much and I'm looking for something that is totally new.

Where's some more wood and nails so I can take care of this the way I did the feline...............  jk Toxicmist sorry, I just don't here "I don't like the Qui-Gon" very often, it proved my Wrath slightly (you'll get the same thing from some people if you say you don't like the Obi TPM). The Counselor was MEANT to look like the Qui-Gon, that was the point of the saber, because so many of us we're Screaming for the Qui-Gon. I guess it's like my Father used to say, "son, you can't please everyone all the time"  ................ what can ya' do lol |

lol at Ultra No that was sorta the point about the Consular, I mean that's what people were looking for was the "Qui-Gon" Esque' hilt.. unique to what the others are sorta? but no worries mate there's plenty of good and unique designs out here. Ultra's got ya covered. Well. Hopefully. after that last statement we might be in trouble....  < < But in all hoping that was just a silly ruse there is plenty of uniqueness out here |

Like i said the consular is a nice hilt and i can see why people love it. In fact before i found out about ultrasabers, qui gons hilt was my one favorites. But after seeing some of the designs ultrasabers offers i lost my interest in it. Also, i dont have much money so if im going to spend almost $200, i'd get like the raven or bane. I just seem to like those sabers better.

I really like the Consular (hint my name). Got it in Green too, but with MLS for those Gray Jedi episodes when only red will do. But I'll get the Manitore too (if my wife lets me...honey yese you can go the the casino).
