Hello people!

my very first UltraSaber came in the mail today and i thought i would add my own opinions on this product and take a few images to show you guys.

ok so when i got my parcel in the mail and i open it, the first thing that was in my mind is how well the saber is packaged in the box, lots of carefully wrapped bubble wrap with a sprinkling of polystyrene packing chips to keep everything in place, so well done to you guys at US for taking the time to do that properly,

ok so now on to the saber itself, obviously the first thing i do is pick the saber up and strait away fall in love with the material and feel of the hilt, so solid and yet smooth and beautiful to look at, i turn on the switch and the saber comes to life with the arctic blue glow, a great colour i have to say, a little greener than the light blue sabers in the films and games but still very nice, i bought it with the UE blade and the weight of the hilt is brilliant with this blade as you can put your finger right at the tip of the emitter and it balances perfectly with the rest of the blade.

let me go through some nice features of this saber with a few pictures below...

the hilt as a whole is beautifully made with a real elegant feel to it, they havent gone mad but putting too many ribs and notches in to its design, just enough to get a good grip on, the length of the saber is also great, just enough for two hands or a hand and a half depending on your preferences.

with or without the light on the saber looks the part...

i would advise anyone getting a UT for the first time to get the blade plug, makes the saber come alive while on a stand or anywhere on show,

towards the bottom of the hilt near the pommel the Prophecy has some nice groves machined into the metal, they are very nice to hold on to especially for a second hand to hold on to on occasions

now lets move to my favorite feature of the saber, the emitter. the emitter is beautifully slanted and smooth to touch, and adorned with 2 brass retainers which goes great with the silver finish of the rest of the hilt.

so overall i was very impressed with my first buy from US and will be buying more in the future, the Prophecy v3 is a brilliant saber, well made and a wonderful thing to own for any saber / SW lover, i would probably give it an 8 out of 10, maybe a 9 if i had got it with sound.

i hope you guys enjoyed my quick review of my first saber from US and if anyone has any questions about the Prophecy V3 i would be happy to try and answer them for you if you were thinking of buying one for yourself.

thanks for reading!

Nice review, very detailed.  The pics really added to it, I have to say the prophecy goes well with every color blade i have seen it with.  This review is especially helpful to me as I am considering getting a prophecy in the near future. Point awarded! Smiley

Nice review and great pics!  I almost picked up a Prophecy but then opted for a Monarch since it was DOTD.  It's still on my wantlist and you make it look really great here.  Anyway, you deserve a point.  Do you prefer light or dark?  Smiley

Light it is then.  And don't worry, you will buy more.  It is inevitable.  Wink

That looks stunning dude, very nice pics.  I love my Dark Prophecy, but the shine on yours makes me crave a regular Prophecy as well!  Don't you just the love the balance on it?  And the size IMO is just perfect for any user, especially for single handed use.

i have to say, although this is my first saber and i don't have any references to the other sabers the feel of this is very natural, great balance and yeah you are right it is a great 1H saber, good for duel wielding i would imagine

Dude, I LOVE the Prophecy! And the Arctic Blue on it is just beautiful.

I really like it when people post pictures in reviews. It lets me appreciate the beauty of these sabers more. Thanks for making a pic heavy review!  Grin

The prophecy seems like a great hilt and is really popular.  I know JC got one in the last raffle and has since grown to really enjoy it.  This review is also a great in depth look at it.

Awesome review. I have to say that I like the pics as well and I am really looking forward to the pics you will take at work! Smiley

I scored a prophecy in a grab bag a while back and I absolutely love it.

Prophecy is high on my wishlist... definitely want it with sound and FoC too, but if I have to settle for a stunt I most likely will...

Right now funds are just going to be too tight for the foreseeable future until I can find another job...

Awesome saber, awesome review, point for you!
