I ordered my first Ultrasaber the other day and I am pretty excited to get it. First because it was on sale, and second, from what I have read Ultrasabers are the bomb diggity.  It is a Standard Issuse with Guardian Blue Ultra Edge Heavy Grade.(I'll be sure to post some pics when I get it) My question is though, what was your reaction when you got your first Ultrasaber |

(runs inside to open it, grabs scissors, and starts tearing through packaging. pulls out saber.)
Whoah!!! These things have some heft to 'em. (swings back and forth) Nice! perfect balance!
(Lights up saber)
Aww.... hell yeah!!!

Like a 28-year old need had been fulfilled!!! I had wanted a lightsaber ever since I saw Return of the Jedi when I was about 5 or 6, all the way back in '83 (God I'm old!)!! These sabers are the closest you're gonna get to a real lightsaber!!  |

I did that 'Aww.... Hell Yeah!' thing, then as soon as I was capable of breathing again, I ran off and threw my ESB soundtrack in the stereo and proceeded to ROCK.... MY..... ULTRASABERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
XD Yeah, it was awesome.

My first saber was waiting for me when I got home from work. I immediately opened it up, might have started to drool just a bit when I saw my LE Dark Prophecy hilt. I wasted no time getting it out of the plastic and turned it on. Wow! I was grinning like a 5 year old until I went to bed many hours later. I still feel like a little kid every time I pick it up. I am really looking forward to getting another Ultrasaber this summer.

I got it in the mail yesterday. It is awesome. It is the perfect length for a big guy like me ( I am 6 foot 6). I'll post pictures ASAP, probably tonight or tomorrow evening. I can't wait to purchase my next one.

My 1st Ultra Saber was the Prophecy LE in RGB, I got it with an Ultra Edge because I was keen to compare it with the regular style polycarb and wrap. Right out of the box I was in love with the work art in front of me, I was in my office and started cutting and swinging it around making the noises myself lol. Would have looked hillarious for any passerbys who spied me. I didn't want to put it down! I showed it to my Dad (who is also the boss) and he couldn't believe it wasn't a mass produced protuction line piece, especially for the awesome price. Its still one of the first sabers I show off to friends when they check out my Star Wars room. It's probably one of the more rare sabers in collections here in Australia. I'll do some video reviews of my favorite Ultra Sabers soon  |
