Hey guys! havent posted here on saberforum here in a while and I don't believe I have ever posted anything in the costume section so here it goes!

This is a costume I put together for Grand Rapids Comic Con in October and it is my first EVER official cosplay character. There are a few minor improvements I plan on making but this is basically the costume.

(much of the work I did myself -- Painting, Gauntlets, etc)

Hope you guys like it!

I love the slightly Mando themed body armor. Also awesome job with the gauntlets they make for a real nice touch.

Thanks! funny you say that because it IS mando armor lol. I ordered it from Schuby's Galactic Props on ebay, he makes mando armor. I did the painting and weathering myself though.

My thought with the gauntlets was that I had to have SOMETHING that lit up on the costume Cheesy glad you like it!

The only thing that I can criticize is that the armor plating on your arms and legs seem to be unfitted. They appear too wide. If you can bend them a bit more so they wrap snugly to your body, it would improve the costume some.

Other than that, it's pretty well done.

Loving the costume. The arm gauntlets are a real nice touch. I would recommend though getting some velcro or something to attach your hood to the top of your mask, so that it doesn't slip off when you're moving quickly or dueling. Aside from that awesome job!

The gauntlets are staying the way they are and the legs are something that Im working on still,  it doesnt really need to fit any more snug than it is, but I think I am going to cut holes in the pants so I can run the straps through the holes and strap them underneath so that it's not bunching up the pants and making them look weird.

I didn't want to straight up say if it was mando or not because when I had roleplayed on Second Life i saw all too often people having a tiff about mixing mando armor with robes didn't matter what side you were on. So essentially I didn't want to be insulting if you weren't going for that vibe. Something those darn crazy people on SL got me stuck with, a weird habit.

As long as he's not claiming to be a Mando Sith there shouldn't be an issue, could always say you got it from a mandalorian. Especially since way back when, some of the original Sith were allied with the Mandalorians, and used done of their armor.
