wearing my saber or staff with costume

what are some common ways to wear (hang from belt or whatever) my prophesy staff and or saber. putting together a costume and trying to get some different ideas. any ideas will help. thanks

it probably depends on whether or not youll have a vader style cape or robe . if you dont have either , i say put the sabers criss crossed on your back with the blades attached with the hilts at each shoulder.

For a normal saber, at your belt is probably a normal place, and for your staff depending on how tall you are. You can wear it on your belt like Darth Maul would be the safest bet.

But like the other guy said, though I'm not sure about the criss cross thing, on your back at / angle would be neat if you can figure out a way to keep it up there, and smoothly take it out without having any problems. I personally don't have that good a reach for certain stuff (like some swords..) but it's up to you and how you're comfortable with it.

Another idea is to put it behind you on the small of your back or something.going in a horizontal line.

*shrug* Either buy a Covertec clip for your belt, or get a Krussel clip and switch out the knobs on your sabers and wear em' on your belt that way. Works great for me. Easy switch too. You just unscrew the wheel from your saber and screw on the new one, and the black Krussel wheel is smaller, plus the black really offsets the silver color of the rest of the hilt nicely. Balances it out with the brass thumbscrews at the emitter.

Are we talking about the full saber with hilt or just the hilt itself? If it is just the hilt, I would say wither go D-Ring or covertec style. I would say play with the idea and see where are the best places to have a saber on your hip. I always wanted to try more of a hip holster type of thing actually, never did though. For the criss cross thing, you can do that pretty easy if you have a sort of armor on your back. Try using some PVC couplers and make them in order to properly hold the sabers. You could always make a scabbard as well to put on your hip, though that may get in the way during a duel.

Dude let me know if you manage to get that pistol-holder thing going for your saber. That be awesome maybe you and I can conduct some business *wink wink nudge nudge* That is if I haven't spent all my money on rent, food, or sabers XD   

But those are some neat Ideas. You could go like Lord Starkiller and have little straps for your saber around your belt? Those are trophy sabers but still. Be cool to have at least one like that.
