Awesome work. It just will get better from here. The first time is always the scariest. Have point for a job well done.

Thanks! I just knew I was going to mess it up somehow.

Question. How do you saber building veterans install the guarded latching switch since the nut is on the inside? I figured out a way to do it on this one, but I know it's not a very good way. Any tips on that would be great.

Take a 7/16" drill bit and cut the hole. A guarded switch will press fit into this nicely. I push mine in as far as I can by hand and then use a piece of 2x4 laying on my table, I place the switch on top of the 2x4 and press down with the hilt.

You do this after everything is wired? That's the part that is throwing me off. I don't know how to install it if it's wired, and I don't know how to wire it if I install the switch first. Do you show this in one of your Youtube videos?

I cut the hole. I then push my wires that need to be attached to the switch through the hole. Solder the wires to the switch but don't forget to install the heat shrink first (this is the most common mistake that I make). Push the switch inside the hilt. I did show this in my Overlord Project videos. If you have already soldered to your switch, then cut the wires about 1" from the bottom of your heat shrink and do what I described above.

That clears that up, thanks a lot. I forgot to put heat shrink on a couple of spots. Right after I soldered those wires I realized I forgot it. Would electrical tape possible work where I forgot the heat shrink?

I always advise against electrical tape due to the fact the adhesive has a shelf life. Once that heat shrink is in place, it is there to stay. Or at least it has not failed on my PVC build from 2011. Just cut and redo.

Yeah, I just don't want to mess what is already working. Maybe I will though, soldering isn't that hard. Point for all your help.

Nice. Can't wait to see this done. Now I want to do a PVC build myself. I like to use the pre-cut pipes and such and then just add some extra stuff. PM me the best PVC sizes to use and I'll see what I can do.

I just realized the wire going from the battery pack to the switch is not going to be long enough. What gauge of wire do I need for this? It's the pack and switch that US sells.

PVC sounds light, but kind of unprofessional to me. I, personally, wouldn't use a PVC lightsaber
