I'm getting my first US tomorrow, a V3 Initiate, and I'd like to fit it with a D-ring new republic style.
Any helpful suggestions or guides?

Also about MHS, from what I understand it's a semi-standard for saber parts .. is it documented anywhere? by that I mean information like thread depth/pitch/diameter?

Thanks in advance folks!

I put a TCSS D-Ring on a Liberator v3, as long as it is MHS you should be fine, and the v3 has a MHS pommel.

Yeah you can only do the pommel section but you can always get a shroud made for the emitter. Can't wait to see what you do to your saber and make sure to post. Lol.

The pommel on the Initiate has enough meat to it that you can drill and tap a screw hole to mount a d ring. You can get the ring from a hardware store and make a simple mount by bending a piece of thin metal around it and drilling a hole to run a screw through.

Or just use a hose clamp, if you don't want to drill into your saber.
